Just you, as you are.
Your breath, your body, your practice.
Hatha Yoga
Our Hatha Yoga classes are an invitation to develop a more beautiful relationship with yourself. Typically we begin with breathing exercises that help you quiet the mind and find your centre. Next we do a gentle warm up to bring awareness to the joints and muscles as we prepare for the asana sequence that follows.
The postures are always adapted to the theme and participants of the class. Each class provides personal modifications to the traditional poses, offering both regressions and progressions, in order to ensure a safe and pleasant practice for all.
The class emphasises integrating mind, body, energy and breath, and has many benefits. You will gain strength, stability and confidence while also improving your balance and flexibility, both on and off the mat. A more peaceful mind will allow you to ease the effects of daily stress, find relief from tensions, and enjoy better sleep. Most importantly perhaps, with constant practice, you will grow your presence and awareness, and improve the relationship you have with yourself, body, mind and spirit. This is turn will allow you to lead a life based on truth, love and compassion.
Balance & Harmony
We invite you to quiet the mind, calm your nervous system, improve your strength and flexibility, and reconnect with your divine essence. We will cover postures that help us improve our stability, focus and balance, both on the mat and in other aspects of our lives.
Detox & Release
Detox Yoga stimulates the release of toxins, supporting the digestive, immune and lymphatic systems. Benefits include clear skin, improved circulation, higher level of energy and maintaining a healthy weight. Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness.
Energy & Vitality
Do you wish to bring more energy and vitality to every aspect of your life? Using different tools such as physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation, yoga helps you increase your physical and mental strength, as well as your emotional wellbeing. It is a fantastic instrument for gaining a deeper understanding of oneself. It teaches us to be present, to direct our energy where it is most needed, and to create a life that is authentic and aligned with our true self.
Improved Flexibility
Hatha Yoga is gentle and suitable for people of all ages and levels of practice. Improving your flexibility has many benefits including improved performance in physical activities, decreased risk of injuries, better range of motion, and increased muscle blood flow.
Morning Practice
Our morning Hatha Yoga classes aim to energise the body and create a sense of space and freedom, both on a mental and on a physical level. The series of postures and breathing exercises strengthen the muscles, elongate the spine and bring peace to the mind.
Relaxation
Yoga classes are a wonderful opportunity to unplug from your daily responsibilities and reconnect with yourself. I invite you to take these few precious moments for yourself, to rest, to connect with your breath and your body, to allow your mind to settle and your heart to be filled with love. Meet me on the mat and I will guide you through various breath-work techniques, postures and meditation, that will enhance your wellbeing and help you to release tension and relax.
Hatha Yoga for a Happy Spine
This class will help you strengthen your back muscles, which are essential for supporting the spine and nerves in your back. With sustained practice, you will enjoy many benefits including better balance, decreased pain in your back, neck and shoulders, relief from stress and anxiety, improved breathing and sleep, increased flexibility.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching, holding yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasises the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. The only work that’s required on your part during a restorative yoga practice is to pay attention to your breath and become aware of any sensations or thoughts that may arise.
Slow Yoga Flow into Restore
This class begins with a short warm up, followed by a slow Vinyasa flow that gently strengthens your body and improves your range of motion. This practice then takes you into a soft, relaxing sequence of restorative poses, bringing comfort to your body and peace to your mind.
Yin Yoga
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine with postures that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. The sequence of postures stimulates the channels of the subtle body known as meridians in Chinese medicine and as nadis in Hatha yoga.
Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Yin & Somatics
In our Yin & Somatics class, we blend the gentle, deep stretches of Yin Yoga with the mindful, flowing movements of Somatics to create a transformative experience. This class is designed to release deeply held tension, increase mobility, and connect you more fully with your body’s natural rhythms. Through long, restorative holds and slow, intuitive movements, you’ll cultivate a profound sense of relaxation and awareness, leaving you grounded and rejuvenated. Perfect for anyone looking to unwind, relieve stress, and deepen their mind-body connection.
Nidra Meditation
During this class you lie down and move into a deep state of conscious relaxation while also experiencing a sense of heightened awareness. And the best part is that a 50-minute session could leave you feeling rejuvenated, like you indulged in a peaceful three-hour sleep. It’s a great opportunity to slow down and nurture your entire being with this soft and calming Nidra class.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement, connecting one posture to the next using the breath. Considered a “moving meditation,” Vinyasa is about harmony, balance and fluidity. We move and notice how we are moving and what moves us.
Breathwork, Meditation & Sound Journey
Our Breathwork, Meditation and Sound Journey class combines powerful breathing exercises with guided meditation and the healing quality of sacred instruments to reach a state of mental clarity and deep relaxation, as well as a lighter and more open heart.
Kundalini
Kundalini is a form of yoga that involves asanas (postures), repetitive movements, breathing exercises, mudras and mantra chanting. Its purpose is to awaken the Kundalini energy, otherwise known as Shakti.
Each class has a clearly set intention and explores our being’s inner landscape. Benefits include increased vitality, stress relief, and a clear mind.
Pilates
Our Pilates classes focus on building muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body).
